Lately

Lately things have been very crazy around the house.  My parents are going on another trip for their humanitarian missionary calling to Cape Verde (a bunch of islands off the coast of Africa) and we are moving into their house for several months while they are gone.  I have been crazy busy packing while also juggling mastitis, crafting, working on my giveaways and review blog, cleaning, and more. Bret is deep into his application process for pharmacy schools this coming fall, as well as finishing up some classes he is taking online.  We found out that Ashlyn has Chronic Non-Specific Diarrhea for Children and will probably not outgrow it until she is 3 1/2 or 4.  This doesn't seem to stop her as she is getting more and more crazy, hyper, and a little bit of a diva.  Gavin or "bug" as we call him, is still super chubby but also a very happy baby.  He is constantly talking, laughing, and kicking.  He is such a cutie and sooo different from Ashlyn as a baby.  They do, however, look a ton alike and love playing together.  Ashlyn can be a little too smothering with him sometimes but he just laughs and smiles, which is funny.  All in all there are big changes that are coming this year and we look forward to seeing what is in store for our family.  Hopefully more good things than bad.  We hope all our friends and family are doing well and know that we love and care for each of you- even when we are too busy to tell you individually.
