We hosted another terrific murder mystery party at our house over the weekend. This time the theme was American Icon (aka a play on American Idol).
Our guests were assigned characters, which were taken right from the show and did an amazing job at playing their parts.
Simon "Fowell" was found dead in his dressing room, and we all had to figure out who the murderer was.
The characters:
Chrystal Tandberg as Kady Malloy
Steve Tandberg as Elliot Yamin
Sam Divett as David Archibold (aka Archeletta)
Rochelle Divett as Kelly Pickler
Jake Hutchings as Ryan Seacrest
Emily Hutchings as Amanda Overmyer
Dave Marchant as Irv Griffen
Crescent Marchant as Megan Joy
Zane Fairbanks as Chris Daughtry
Cami Fairbanks as Jordin Sparks
Joe Dayton as Randy Jackson
Buffy Dayton as Haley Scarnato
Creed Cardon as William Hung
Tiffany Cardon as Carly Smithson
Bret as Sanjaya Malaki
Me as Michelle Proud
William Hung is Karaoke KING!!
The other scenery:
This time I was completely in the dark about who it was and did my best trying to find out whodunnit. Funny enough, it ended up being the same person who was the murderer at our last murder mystery party. It was a complete shock and I actually felt bad about her being the murderer again (she had no idea as well until she got her character envelope at the party). I do have to say that she does an excellent job at covering up her secrets and making you believe it's not her! At least she went home with one of our amazing prizes for best dressed female as a concilation!
Oh and Bret got best dressed male--he made a great Sanjaya!
WHAT ANOTHER GREAT NIGHT WITH GREAT FRIENDS!!

Love it! Also love that I look drunk in my picture. Maybe Jordin Sparks really is a drunk....?? Such a fun party though-seriously.
