Over the weekend we took the kids to an Easter Egg hunt and watched the kids race to get some eggs. Even though their baskets were full, they really didn't get much in them. A tiny eraser in one egg, a sticker in another, etc. So Sunday Morning after they found their Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny had cleverly hidden, we had our own little Easter egg hunt in the living room. It was really fun! They made out like bandits with tons of yummy treats and goodies! Then to top things off, practically everyone had something going on for church. I had to teach the Young Women's Easter Lesson, Bret was teaching his class, and Ashlyn gave her very first talk in Primary. It was absolutely adorable and she did perfectly! I heard many "awws" and "she is so cute" from the adults. It's true though- she was super cute during her talk and said everything perfectly...well resurrection was a little hard to say. Here's some pics of our Easter festivities:
AND HERE IS A GREAT SPIRITUAL EASTER MESSAGE!
